FAD was founded in 1961 in Gornja Milanovac as Fabrika automobilskih delova FAD ("FAD Auto Parts Factory"). The factory operated under the FAD name until September 2015. Since its inception, FAD has specialized in the production of a group of suspension parts - joints, tie rods, shaft struts, suspension arm joints, independent suspension arms and silent blocks.
For more than half a century, the company has continued to meet the stringent requirements of the automotive industry and is considered one of the most reliable manufacturers in the international spare parts market. The wide product range of more than three thousand items covers almost all types of commercial vehicles made by European manufacturers.
The quality of FAD products is confirmed by the IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 certificates, as well as by the markets developed in more than 40 countries on four continents. Thanks to more than half a century of tradition and strict quality control in the production process, the renowned quality of FAD products guarantees the safety of vehicle users.
The highest level of product safety is achieved through several interrelated safety control steps that consistently accompany the technological and production processes of hot stamping, heat and machining, deformation treatment, assembly, varnishing and testing. Tests, which are regulated by the means, scope and pace of repeated testing of the same characteristics of parts, eliminate the occurrence of random defects. In the process of repeated and daily 100% control of parts, their characteristics and production processes, which form the fundamental safety principles, modern electronic and automated high-precision control equipment is used, the serviceability of which is regularly monitored. Design solutions are tested in a comprehensive manner by combining road tests of vehicles and functional tests in the laboratory on specially manufactured test benches, where the full range of various loads and operating conditions is simulated. As a rule, the loads during these tests are much more severe than in practice. This system allows us to find the safest design and technological solutions for the most severe operating conditions.
The warranty period for all FAD brand products is 1 year (12 months) without mileage limit!
